Nike, in partnership with the city of Rio de Janeiro, has invited us to create the visual identity for a very special sponsorship project: 21 multi-sport venues, called Vila Olímpica, located in communities in the capital of Rio de Janeiro. The goal of the project was to give access and opportunity to young people who want to develop themselves in sports.
We worked the visual identity of the Villages highlighting the name of each community: Acari, Caju and Encantado. All of them inspired by the lines and designs of the sports courts. We also worked on a typographic system in which each logo gained a unique personality.
